Apple & Eve Organics - Thanks to @Influenster

Products reviewed are solely my own opinion.  I have received these products for free & have not received any money compensation for the review.

 Thanks to Influenster I received a VoxBox including several individual boxed drinks (Apple & Eve Organic Quenchers) as well as a medium size container of juice from Apple & Eve Organics (Apple & Eve Organics 1L).

The individual boxed drink flavors included: fruit punch, apple, & raspberry.  My 4 year old saw the juice boxes and of course had to have one right away.  The box fit perfectly in her hands and the straw was easy to insert at the top.

The first flavor she tried was fruit punch.  As soon as she began to drink the drink she had a sour look on her face & informed me that it was sour and refused to finish it.  I tried the juice box & must agree that the drink was very sour.  You could taste the flavor but it was hard to get over the sour taste.  We didn't give up & continued to try the other flavors but all of them had a sour flavor to them.  :-(  This made us sad.

But, Apple & Eve Organics also included a medium size carton of apple juice.  I decided to try this first & pour a glass of it.  Total difference.  It was not sour, it tasted wonderful.  Although the juice seemed a bit thick & had a hazy color, the taste was really really good.

All in all, I wouldn't purchase the individual juice boxes as everyone we tried had a sour taste.  Maybe it's just our southern taste buds!  Who knows?  But, the carton of apple juice? #winning I would purchase that!

@RoosterFin Games + @Tryazon = Family Game Night!

I've been a member of the website Tryazon for a few months.   The website is pretty much a way for companies to target a specific audience, send them company products, & as long as the Tryazon member agrees & completes all tasks they are able to keep the product at no cost to them.  The products are also full size products and usually arrive decently fast.

The tasks that you must complete when you accept a product from Tryazon include: hosting a party dedicated to the product (they give you the dates to have the party & usually give you a good months notice prior to party date), taking pictures of the product & party to post to social media (& also giving the company permission to use your pictures & reviews), & sharing the product on social media.

I was selected by Tryazon & RoosterFin Games to host a Family Game Night.  The game night is not required to be hosted until October 23-24, 2015 but I received the product last week.  I was very surprised and highly satisfied when the product arrived, as this is all new to me & I have never been selected to try out full size products before.

RoosterFin Games sent me three board games to use at our game night.  The games received were:

To make sure I am prepared for our game night (& because I love playing board games) I decided to go ahead and play the games I received so when we had guest over I could correctly explain how to play the games.

All three games, although simple games, are fun and would really be acceptable for any age. (Haley played them all successfully with me & she's 4!)

Lumpy Cubes is a match game where each player picks a set of same colored plastic cubes (each set is a different color).  The game comes with a deck of cards with pictures of the cubes (all the cubes have faces on them) in a specific order.  Each player is required to stack their cubes to match the picture on the card & the one who finishes first receives points.  It's simple, fun, & quite addictive if I do say so myself.

Mohawkz comes with six plastic ping pong type balls that sport cartoon faces & mohawkz.  The game also comes with a cardboard "goal."  Each player has to attempt to get their mohawkz ball into the goal & whoever gets 7 points first is the winner.  Once again, simple but oh so addictive!  My 4 year old can't get ENOUGH!

Rooster Race This game comes with a deck of cards & 15 plastic pieces of corn.  Each player gets 14 cards and once the first card on the deck is revealed the first player must guess if the card they are about to lay down is higher or lower than the card already laid down.  If they are correct they get a piece of corn, if they are wrong they have to return the corn.  The player with the most corn at the end is the winner!  Once again simple but fun.
These games aren't very challenging and the rules are simple but, they are fun and they aren't drawn out so you are able to finish them quickly if you have things to do but could keep playing and playing because of how much entertainment they are.

Way to go @RoosterFin! These games are #winners!
